[1] Project Background:The international project “Education
Competency Enhancement Project Mechatronics Technicum at ‘TIIAME’ National
Research University in Uzbekistan” (2024–2029), implemented under the “Leading
Universities in International Cooperation” Grant Program, is aimed at
developing the capacity to train highly skilled specialists for Uzbekistan’s
manufacturing industry. The project is conducted in collaboration with Keimyung
College University, Korea.
Within the project framework, the educational capacity
of the Mechatronics Technicum at TIIAME National Research University
will be strengthened, modern engineering education standards introduced, and
the digital education infrastructure expanded.
For this purpose, the university will establish the Digital
Educational Innovative Service Center (DEISC). The center will support
ongoing reforms in digital education and innovation in Uzbekistan, enable
Technicum faculty and students to engage effectively on international digital
platforms, and promote initiatives aimed at increasing the income and digital
skills of girls and women, as well as ensuring gender equality.
Through this international project, modern curricula
will be implemented, Technicum laboratories equipped with advanced technical
equipment, and practical skills of young specialists enhanced, thereby
expanding opportunities to train highly skilled professionals in the field of
mechatronics in Uzbekistan.
