International scientific and practical conference "Trends in the Use of a Foreign Language for the Purpose of Professional Priority"

Information Letter
In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, approved in January 2024, titled “Increasing the effectiveness of working withstudents in higher education institutions and organizing their leisure time meaningfully during the 2023/2024 academic year,” and with the aim of applying this order in practice, enhancing students’ interest in language, and improving their ability to use language skills in their respective fields, the Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers of Tashkent National ResearchUniversity, Faculty of Economics, Department of English will hold an international scientific andpractical conference on the topic “Trends in the Use of Foreign Languages for Professional Priority” on May 17, 2025.
At the conference, the plenary session and subsequent sessions will cover the following topics:
1. The Role of English in the Era of Globalization
-The role of English in economics, law, hydraulic engineering construction, and ecology
-The importance of language proficiency in the tourism sector
-Language strategies in accounting and auditing.
2. The Role of Modern Technologies in Language Learning in Non-Philological Fields
-The role of artificial intelligence and online platforms in professional fields
- Importance of foreign languages in the field of energy-saving technologies
-Language use in transport and engineering sectors.
3. Language Skills for Professional Development in Agriculture
-Proficiency in foreign languages in land resources and cadastre
-Language skills in agricultural mechanization
-The impact of language in hydromelioration.
Papers should be submitted to the conference following these guidelines:
Lecture materials must be formatted in MS Word using Times New Roman font, size 14.
The paper size should be A4 (210 x 297 mm), with margins set to 2 cm at the top, 2 cm at the bottom, 3cm on the left, and 1.5 cm on the right. The first line of each paragraph should be indented by 1 cm, and line spacing must be set to 1.5.
Articles should adhere to the IMRAD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) and be written in English. The title of the paper should be centered, bolded, and in capital letters. Below the title, the author’s name, surname, academic title, and affiliation should be aligned to the right, alongwith the author’s phone number and email address.
The thesis and article should be 6-8 pages long and must be submitted to the organizing committee ineither paper or electronic form. Lecture materials will be published after editing.
Authors will receive a DOI and an electronically indexed collection in Google Scholar, as well as a participant certificate. The author(s) are responsible for the accuracy and correctness of the facts presented in their articles. Materials that the editorial board find inadequately formatted will not be published and will not be returned to the authors. Conference participants are requested to submit their articles by April 30, 2025. The publication fee for an article is 70,000 soums.
