Organization of Mock IELTS (paper-based) by British Council at our university

On October 12, 2024 British Council organized Mock IELTS (paper-based) for students and teachers of university due to the IELTS partnership program.
This international exam was held at the faculty branch of the Center for Professional Development, organized on the initiative of Associate Professor of the English Department Guzalya Eshchanova as part of an international project with the British Council. The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics U. Alimov, Head of the English Department B. Israilova, who emphasized that students will be able to achieve high results by mastering a foreign language.Deputy Dean of “Economics” Faculty U. Kholiyorov and the head of the "Union of Youth" of the University M. Yarbekova made a good contribution in providing the participants of the event.
Students
and teachers of different faculties of our university took part in Mock IELTS.
Among the candidates were professors and teachers of “English Language” Department, including
Yagubov Odil and Karimov Feruz, which became an excellent motivation for the
candidates,aimed at improving their knowledge of English.
We
hope that such events will be often organized at our university and will help
our candidates on improving their foreign language skills to achieve the
desired results. The results of the Mock IELTS will be announced to the
participants by the British Council soon.
