In order to implement the tasks given during the video conference held by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 15, 2025, a series of nationwide spiritual-enlightenment events titled "Topical 90 Days" are being organized.

In this context, on July 24, 2025, a book presentation was held at the Palace of Culture in Bekobod district under the motto “100 Books for Every School.” The event focused on the works of the national poet Abdulla Oripov. The hall was filled with local intellectuals, educators, and school principals from Bekobod, who responded with open smiles, applause, and sincere satisfaction.

The event featured speeches and reflections by several distinguished guests, including:

  • Olimjon Usarov, Advisor to the Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan on patriotic propaganda, spiritual-enlightenment affairs, and youth issues;

  • Hanifa Mustafayeva, wife of the national hero and poet Abdulla Oripov, and their daughter Ruxsora;

  • Shuhrat Oripov, recipient of the “Shuhrat” medal and the “Dostlik” order, talented poet, active journalist, and Advisor to the Bank for Business Development on information policy;

  • Professor Boboqul Toshev, Doctor of Law, Advisor to the Intellectual Property Protection Agency on information policy;

  • Dadaxon Muhammadiyev, member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan and Advisor to the Minister of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan on state language affairs and spiritual-enlightenment activities.

The event was opened by Zaynulobiddin Shakhobiddinovich Nizomiddinov, the Hokim (governor) of Bekobod district, who expressed gratitude to the guests from the capital and, on behalf of everyone present, congratulated President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his 68th birthday.

The moderator of the event, Professor Rakhimboy Jumaniyozov, Advisor on Information Policy to the Rector of the “TIIAME” National Research University, noted that 100 books had been presented to each of the 62 schools in the district as part of this initiative. He emphasized that although this initiative had been completed, the enlightenment movement would now continue through engagement with local neighborhoods. He also highlighted that President Mirziyoyev had assigned the responsibility of studying and popularizing the life and literary legacy of Abdulla Oripov—a national hero of Uzbekistan—to the community of the university where he himself once studied and worked (the former TIQXMMI, now a National Research University). He reiterated the President's message that there should be no pause in educational and moral development.

A collection of books brought from the capital was ceremoniously distributed to school communities.

In the second part of the event, talented artists from the Central Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan gave a vivid and artistic performance.

The joy and contentment visible on the faces of the local intelligentsia and residents of Bekobod clearly reflected the profound impact and uplifting spirit of the event.
