Career Day: Visit of representatives from “Suez International SAS” and the Hydrometeorological Research Institute

On December 5,2025 specialists from the international company “Suez International SAS” and the Hydrometeorological Research Institute visited the university as part of the Career Day event organized by the "Hydrology and Hydrogeology" Department for "Hydromelioration" Faculty, programs in Hydrology (river and reservoir hydrology) and Reclamation Hydrogeology.
The main purpose of the visit was to expand new job opportunities, internships, and practical training for students, develop scientific cooperation in hydrology fields, and exchange experience in modern water management and hydrometeorology.
The guests were provided with detailed information about:
• innovative technologies for water resources management,
• digital monitoring systems,
• scientific research laboratories,
• practical projects implemented through international cooperation.
Representatives of “Suez International SAS” delivered a presentation about the company’s global projects, internship programs for young specialists, and available job positions for students of the “TIIAME” National Research University.
Specialists from the Hydrometeorological Research Institute provided information on climate change, hydrological monitoring systems, and scientific practices, followed by an open discussion with students.
During the event, students asked questions of interest and received direct information about employment requirements, internship procedures, and future career opportunities.
At the end of the Career Day, both sides agreed to strengthen mutual cooperation, expand internship programs, and continue joint project initiatives.
