Additional opportunities have been established for applicants to enter higher education.

The corresponding protocol of the meeting of the State Commission for Admission to Educational Organizations of the Republic of Uzbekistan was approved.
According to him:
- ➖A competition will be held for vacant positions in bachelor's degree programs. At the same time, an opportunity is created for applicants who have scored 56.7 points or higher, but have not been recommended for admission, including those who did not choose a higher educational institution or undergraduate education in the second stage of registration;
- ➖According to the results of the entrance exams, applicants will be able to enroll on a differentiated paid-contract basis;
- ➖State orders for foreign and non-state higher educational institutions operating in the republic have been approved;
- ➖Additional grant and tuition-contract places have been allocated for Karakalpakstan youth.
Also, the distribution of quotas allocated for the Presidential Grant by areas of education and the results of the competition for master's degree specialties in state higher educational institutions were approved.
This resolution will serve to further expand access to higher education for applicants and increase the level of youth enrollment in higher education.
Additional admission to bachelor's degree vacancies will be held from September 25 to October 3 (inclusive).
In accordance with the protocol of the State Commission for Admission to Educational Organizations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, for the 2025/2026 academic year, additional admission will be carried out for vacant places in bachelor's degree programs.
According to it, the following opportunities will be created for applicants who scored 56.7 points or higher on the entrance exams of 2025, but were not recommended for admission, including those who did not choose a higher education institution or undergraduate education programs at the second stage of registration:
- 🟢 to participate in the competition for vacant bachelor's degree programs in state higher educational institutions, the opportunity to register online through the website my.uzbmb.uz will be created from September 25 to October 3, 2025 (inclusive);
- 🟢Registered applicants are recommended for admission to vacant places on the basis of a basic paid contract with strict observance of the sequence of scores;
- 🟢during the registration process, there is an opportunity to choose a bachelor's degree program with a corresponding set of subjects;
- 🟢statements on the results of the competition are published by October 8, 2025, and are sent to the relevant higher educational organizations for processing documents for admission to students.
Information on the bachelor's degree programs in which vacancies remain in the general admission parameters is published on the official website of the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Skills.
The amount of the differentiated tuition contract for the current year is determined by the rectors (directors) of the higher educational institution.
In accordance with the protocol of the State Commission, the rector (director) will independently determine the amount of the differentiated tuition contract for additional admission to bachelor's degree programs for applicants who scored 56.7 points or higher in the entrance exams for the 2025/2026 academic year, but were not recommended for admission, in the following order:
- ➖Differentiated contract amounts established for applicants who have not reached the admission thresholds of up to 4.05 points are determined in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 578 dated September 13, 2025 (Appendix No. 1, Clause 73);
- ➖Differentiated tuition fee amounts for applicants who have not reached the admission thresholds of more than 4.05 points are set by rectors (directors) of higher education institutions in an amount not less than 3.0 times the basic tuition fee.
By September 25, 2025, all higher educational institutions will approve and publish on their official website the minimum amounts of differentiated tuition fees for the 2025/2026 academic year in the context of bachelor's degree programs and forms of education.
Applicants who have expressed a desire to study on a differentiated paid-contract basis during the 2025/2026 academic year admission will be allowed to pay 50% of the annual tuition fee until October 31, 2025 (inclusive).
Also, applicants who participated in the competition based on the results of entrance exams to bachelor's degree programs and were recommended for admission to one of the second to fifth bachelor's degree programs on the basis of a state grant or a paid contract are allowed to study on a differentiated paid contract basis in the first bachelor's degree program chosen by their preference (except for those recommended for admission on the basis of targeted admission).
