Curriculum - an official pedagogical document that defines the subject taught in educational institutions, its sections, the order of teaching, as well as the teaching of each subject throughout the year and the number of subjects that should be taught during the academic year and week. In Uzbekistan, the Curriculum is developed and approved by the relevant ministries. For educational institutions of the same type, the Curriculum is uniform and mandatory. At the same time, each educational institution can change the Curriculum to a certain extent. It is also permitted to have a specific Curriculum for the country's core universities. The general and mandatory nature of the curriculum ensures the continuity of the stages of the education system and provides equal opportunities for all members of society to acquire knowledge.
