Fulfillment of the President's tasks

On June 20, 2024 a videoconference was held under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the issues of training engineering personnel and improving the activities of higher education institutions. In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks set at the meeting, the rector of the university, Bakhadir Suyunovich Mirzayev made a visit to the Tashkent Tractor Plant LLC enterprise.
At the meeting, a discussion was held with the general director of the enterprise, Aziz Mukhitdinov and leading engineers of the enterprise, dedicated to the problems that exist today at all higher education institutions of the country, issues of developing a platform that connects their graduates with potential employers, training personnel with practical skills in the field of modern mechanical engineering, introducing innovative scientific developments into the field and student practices.
As a result of the meeting, a memorandum was signed on further cooperation between the university and the enterprise. According to the agreement, a “Young Designers and Technologists Club” will be opened to study existing problems in production and develop prompt innovative solutions and recommendations for them.
