The poetry of a Great Hero is always in our hearts

On September 18, 2024 several
talented and poetry-loving students and teachers of the “TIIAME” National Research
University made a visit to the "Writers' Alley"...
A literary and educational event, dedicated
to the memory of the Hero of Uzbekistan, People's Poet of Uzbekistan Abdulla
Oripov and the presentation of his books "Great Simplicity" and
"Thoughts on Oman" took place in the magnificent hall of the Writers'
Union. Several famous poets and writers, as well as members of A. Oripov's
family took part in the event.
The event was held by the
chairman of the association, senator, people's poet of Uzbekistan Sirojiddin
Said. The Hero of Uzbekistan, literary scholar Ibrahim Gafurov, professors
Abdurakhim Erkaev, Nurboy Jabbarov made a speech. On behalf of the university,
the head of the press service R. Dzhumaniyazov gave information about the
writer, read the poet's beautiful poems and expressed his positive thoughts.
The poet's wife Mrs Hanifa shared her memories about the writer. The event was
held in a good mood.
