January 14 – “Defenders of the Fatherland” Day

On January 14, 2026 an event dedicated to “Defenders of the Fatherland” Day was organized for the students of the Faculty of Hydromelioration.
The event was attended by veterans of the State Security Service Border Troops: Reserve Lieutenant Colonel A.Ch. Boriyev and Reserve Major G.Q. Dekhqonov.
The event was festively opened by the Dean of the Faculty, J. Ishchanov, and the guests emphasized in their speeches that January 14 is an opportunity to honor those who sacrificed their lives to ensure peace and stability in our country and the peaceful life of our people. They also noted that this holiday is valuable not only for military personnel but for every citizen who contributes to maintaining the peace of the homeland.
Such events foster respect and admiration for defenders of the homeland, strengthen national pride, and deepen the sense of patriotism among students.
