“Career Day” at "'Energy" Faculty

The main goal of the “Career Day” event is to assist graduates of higher education institutions in securing employment, support their professional development, and ensure their successful integration into the labor market. The event plays an important role for students in identifying future career paths, establishing direct communication with employers, and expanding employment opportunities.

In this context, on February 10, 2026 a “Career Day” event was organized jointly by the Faculty of Energy and the Student Internship Department to implement measures outlined in the directive on supporting graduate employment. The event was conducted in accordance with the requests of ministries, agencies, and various organizations regarding the preparation of personnel in different professional fields.

During the event, graduates from the following programs were carefully selected:

  • Rural and Water Economy Energy Supply

  • Technological Processes and Production Automation and Control

  • Electrical Power Engineering

  • Alternative Energy Sources

  • Technical Expertise and Marketing of Technology

  • Mechatronics and Robotics

Students were also provided with detailed explanations about tripartite agreements between the employer, university, and student, which allow employers to cover the student’s tuition fees after graduation under the condition of employment.

The event featured presentations and participation from prominent professionals, including:

  • Karimov Bobur Salohiddinovich, Director of the Non-State Educational Institution “Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel” under Uzbekgidroenergo JSC

  • Madrimov Sardor, Head of the “Coordination of Production and Advanced Laboratory Activities” Department, Inno Texnopark

  • Khakimov Jahongir, Chief Specialist of the “Innovative Project Development” Department, National Electric Grids JSC

  • Mamadaliyev Salokhiddin, Chief Specialist, Infrastructure Projects Implementation Directorate under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan

  • Tolipov Jamshid, Senior Researcher, Institute of Energy Problems, Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan

  • Ismatullayev Tolqin, Chief Specialist, Electric Rural Construction JSC

In addition, Abdulaziz Gulboyev, Project Manager of the “Step into the Future” Center at Mirzo Ulugbek Bank Service Center, conducted a seminar-training within the framework of PD-61 Resolution, providing practical information on employment, turning business ideas into projects, and financing opportunities.

Furthermore, Berdiyeva Zarina, an employee of the non-governmental organization “Teach for Uzbekistan”, presented the organization’s activities, program opportunities, and available teaching positions for 4th-year bachelor students. The presentation focused on supporting the development of school education, especially in socially disadvantaged areas, by attracting talented, knowledgeable, and leadership-capable young professionals as teachers.

During the event, students received detailed answers to their questions. Representatives of the participating organizations emphasized their readiness to provide practical support to students and graduates, including helping them develop professional skills during internships and facilitating employment in relevant organizations after graduation.
