The Vocational Education Agency of Uzbekistan and Keimyung College University are cooperating with our university within the framework of a grant project.

#International cooperation

On March 6, 2026 a meeting was held between representatives of "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University, Keimyung College University of the Republic of Korea, and the Vocational Education Agency under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan within the framework of an international project, aimed at developing the vocational education system.

The meeting was attended by Lee Sangseog, professor of Keimyung College University and coordinator of the international project Leading Universities Program for International Cooperation (LUPIC). Also participating in the delegation was Guzal Eshchanova, Associate Professor of "TIIAME" National Research University and project member. Representatives of the Agency, including Laylo Abdusattorovna Yakhshiboeva, Department of Foreign Investment Attraction and International Cooperation also took part in the meeting.

During the discussion, issues such as organizing international professional development programs for technical school teachers and students, supporting their professional growth, and developing modern vocational education were addressed.

In addition, the participants discussed awarding certificates to teachers and students who take part in international trainings organized within the project, as well as the implementation and effective use of textbooks and educational materials created by Korean specialists in technical schools.

Within the framework of this project, which will be implemented during 2024–2029, it is planned to develop the Mechatronics field and establish the Digital Education and Innovation Support Center (DEISC). The project aims to train highly qualified technical specialists in areas such as robotics, smart manufacturing, and system management, in accordance with modern industrial requirements.

This meeting became an important step toward strengthening international cooperation in vocational education, introducing modern educational technologies, and improving the quality of technical school education.
