During the presentation, it was announced that 500 billion UZS will be allocated to finance more than 8,000 projects in 2026, with plans to provide employment opportunities for nearly 10,000 young people.

It was emphasized that the “TalabaExpo-2026” Career Exhibitions should be effectively organized in other regions of the country as well, with the active involvement of employers and business entities.

All related processes will be monitored through the career.edu.uz employment support platform, and responsibility for ensuring graduate employment will be extended down to the level of local government authorities.

Career centers will be fully established and operational at all higher education institutions, and their performance will be incentivized based on results. The activities of these centers will be evaluated through the “Graduate Quality Index,” and the career centers of the top 20 universities achieving the highest results will each receive 500 million UZS in funding.

This year, 360 job fairs will be organized at the university level and 750 job fairs at the faculty level. In addition, more than 1,000 meetings and workshops with employers will be held across various fields of study.

Starting from the 2026–2027 academic year, all higher education institutions will introduce a course titled “Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship” to help students develop entrepreneurial skills and become familiar with opportunities available for starting and running a business.

An initiative was also proposed to introduce a targeted dual education model, focused on training specialists based on specific employer demands and flexible educational programs. This approach aims to better align graduates' skills with labor market needs.
