Defense of Graduation Qualification projects at Uzsuvqurilish Joint-Stock Company

On June 9, 2026 the final state attestation and defense of graduation qualification projects for students of the 60812400 – Mechanization of Water Management and Land Reclamation Works bachelor’s program of the Faculty of Hydromelioration was held at Uzsuvqurilish Joint-Stock Company.

The defense was attended by the Chairperson and members of the State Attestation Commission, whose composition had been approved by the Rector’s order, as well as specialists from the joint-stock company and faculty members of the department.

During the defense, graduating students delivered presentations prepared in accordance with the established requirements for their graduation qualification projects. They thoroughly explained the essence of their research findings and the recommendations they had developed.

The projects covered a range of innovative topics, including:

  • Improvement of a centrifugal pump impeller using 3D modeling elements;

  • Development of recommendations for the optimal design of a machine that creates anti-seepage linings in irrigation canals;

  • Application of automatic mechanisms in drip irrigation systems;

  • Organization of technical services for construction and land reclamation machinery using the AnyLogic PLE software platform;

  • Improvement of the structural designs of working equipment used in land reclamation and construction machinery.

The use of modern software tools and advanced technological approaches in these projects made a positive impression on the specialists of the joint-stock company.

The participation of Rustamjon Roziqovich Umarov, Chairman of the Board of Uzsuvqurilish Joint-Stock Company, and Javlonbek Kurbanbayevich Ishchanov, Dean of the Faculty of Hydromelioration, demonstrated the high level of attention given to the recommendations developed by the graduating students. Several of the proposed solutions were recommended for implementation in industrial practice, while talented graduates were encouraged to continue their education at the master’s level.

The defense proceedings took place in an active and constructive atmosphere characterized by professional discussion, debate, and mutual respect. At the conclusion of the event, the results were announced, and the graduates were congratulated and wished success as they embark on the next stage of their lives and careers.
