Happy 80th Anniversary!

In celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Faculty of Land Resources and Cadastre, the 'TIIAME" National Research University hosted an international scientific and practical conference on June 5–6, 2026, titled “80 Years of Experience: Prospects for Geoinnovative (Spatial) Research in Land Resource Management and Cadastre.”
The conference was ceremonially opened by the Rector of TIIAME NRU, Professor B. S. Mirzayev. The event brought together leaders, professors, researchers, and specialists from prominent organizations, institutes, and universities from Uzbekistan and around the world.
Among the participating institutions were the Cadastre Agency under the National Committee for Sustainable Development of Urbanization and the Housing Market, the Uzdavyerloyiha State Research and Design Institute, the State Cadastre Chamber, the University of Nyíregyháza (Hungary), the University of Tehran (Islamic Republic of Iran), Xidian University (China), the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (China), the S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University (Kazakhstan), and many others.
Held in a highly inspiring atmosphere, the conference featured presentations by leading scholars and experts on a wide range of topics, including:
Mechanisms of land resource management;
Organizational, legal, economic, and geoinformation systems for integrated land management;
Remote sensing and cartography;
Digital technologies;
Artificial intelligence and smart agriculture;
State cadastres and geospatial data infrastructures;
Geodesy, geodetic measurements, and modern technologies.
The primary objective of the conference was to bring together academics, researchers, specialists, and professionals from Uzbekistan and other countries working in the fields of land resource management and cadastre. It also aimed to encourage interdisciplinary research, support doctoral studies and scientific investigations in land management, land planning, and cadastre, expand the involvement of scholars and specialists in the international scientific community, strengthen cooperation between universities and research institutions, promote international collaboration, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge in the fields of land resource use, management, and cadastre education.
The conference served as an important platform for sharing experience, discussing current challenges and future opportunities, and strengthening international scientific cooperation in the rapidly developing fields of land resource management and geospatial technologies.
