A meeting was organized at the "TIIAME" National Research University within the framework of an international scientific project being implemented in cooperation with Selçuk University of Türkiye. During the meeting, the university’s Rector, Bakhadir Mirzaev, briefed the guests on the institution’s achievements in science, innovation, and international cooperation, as well as ongoing reforms aimed at integrating scientific research with practical applications.
The negotiations were attended by Professor Kuş Recai and Professor Hasan Erdinç Koçer from Selçuk University. The parties discussed expanding the scope of joint research projects, publishing collaborative articles in international scientific journals, and developing academic exchange programs for doctoral students and young researchers.
As part of the visit, the guests toured the university’s modern laboratories and research centers. Particular interest was shown in initiatives related to the introduction of digital information and measurement technologies in the water management sector, the improvement of engineering solutions, and the practical implementation of innovative developments.
The participants emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation in enhancing the efficiency of irrigation systems, deepening scientific research on the identification and analysis of cavitation processes, and training highly qualified specialists who meet international standards.
