A meeting was held at the National Research University “TIIAME” with the participation of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, and students, doctoral candidates, and young researchers. During the open dialogue, participants discussed the ongoing reforms in the country's energy sector, modernization of the industry, the wider adoption of renewable energy sources, and the training of highly qualified specialists for the sector.
The event provided students and young researchers with an opportunity not only to receive answers to their questions but also to exchange views on scientific projects and innovative initiatives in the field. In particular, Ezozbek Ozodov, a doctoral student at the university, presented 76 startup projects developed for the water and energy sectors.
In his speech, the Minister emphasized that the sustainable development of the energy sector is closely linked to science, innovation, and engineering solutions. He also highlighted the importance of supporting the scientific ideas and initiatives of young people.
At the end of the meeting, the university administration expressed its gratitude to Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov for his productive dialogue with students and his contribution to the development of the sector. He was presented with a commemorative gift and a certificate of appreciation.
The meeting played an important role in strengthening cooperation between education, science, and industry, increasing young people's interest in the energy sector, and helping them realize their innovative potential.
