As part of the implementation of Presidential Resolution No. PD–122 of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated 2 April, 2026, practical efforts are continuing to establish the systematic use of drone technologies in the agricultural and water management sectors.

To support this initiative, the "TIIAME" National Research University has reached a cooperation agreement with Yi Yang, Co-Founder of Beijing TTAviation Technology Co., Ltd., one of China’s leading manufacturers of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The partnership aims to introduce innovative drone technologies and train highly qualified specialists for the sector.

Within the framework of this cooperation, the university will:

  • Establish a joint training center in collaboration with Beijing TTAviation Technology Co., Ltd.;

  • Develop educational programs for training specialists in the operation and control of drones for both short- and long-range missions;

  • Train drone instructors based on China’s 20+30+30 training model;

  • Develop technical diagnostics and after-sales service capabilities for drone systems.

In addition, the partnership will create opportunities to utilize the company’s advanced UAV technologies for agricultural crop treatment, aerial surveying and monitoring, logistics operations, and the application of intelligent (smart) drones in scientific research.

This collaboration represents an important step toward accelerating the digital transformation of agriculture and water resources management, strengthening research and innovation, and developing a new generation of highly skilled drone technology specialists.
