A Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding signed at "TIIAME" National Research University with Keimyung College University and the Digital Education Development Center

On July 27, 2026 as part of the Education Forum and Industry Advisory Council Cooperation Program (July 27–29, 2026), a series of important meetings aimed at strengthening international cooperation took place at the TIIAME National Research University.
One of the forum’s key events was the signing of a Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding between Keimyung College University (South Korea), the "TIIAME" National Research University, and the Digital Education Development Center under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The memorandum focuses on advancing digital education, educational innovation, and international cooperation.
The signing ceremony was attended by:

Professor Lee Sangseog, LUPIC Project Coordinator, Keimyung College University;
Professor Ulugbek Ulkanbayevich Khaydarov, Deputy Director, Digital Education Development Center;
Saidmurod Abdujabborov, Head of the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi Successors Project;
Nilufar Begibaeva, Chief Specialist;
Visiting experts from South Korea: Professor Lee Sunga, Professor Kim Miseong, and Professor Kim Chen Hyon.
As part of the forum, participants were introduced to the Digital Education & Innovation Support Centre (DEISC), established under the LUPIC (Leading Universities Project for International Cooperation) initiative. Guests explored the center’s modern infrastructure and learned about its work in digital education, startups, innovation projects, artificial intelligence (AI), and entrepreneurship.
During the DEISC presentation, Associate Professor Guzal Eshchanova, DEISC Coordinator and Assistant National Coordinator of the LUPIC Project in Uzbekistan, together with Aziz Nigmatov and Sanjar Ungalov, presented the center’s current activities, achievements, and future development plans. Experts from Keimyung College University provided practical recommendations on expanding joint educational programs, strengthening applied research, and enhancing international collaboration.

The signing of the MoU marks an important milestone in expanding the international partnerships of the "TIIAME" National Research University, promoting digital education and innovation, and developing the DEISC Center into one of the region’s leading platforms for international academic cooperation.
