A delegation from TIIAME National Research University successfully participated in the coordinators' meeting, international forum, and RE.Act Summer School, organized within the framework of the international project "RE.Act: A Water-Energy Nexus Partnership for Higher Education in Central Asia." The events took place in the city of Naryn, Kyrgyz Republic.
Hosted by the Naryn Regional Multidisciplinary Institute of Kyrgyz National University, the event brought together representatives from leading universities, research institutions, and international organizations from Germany, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. The gathering served as a platform for strengthening international cooperation and promoting knowledge exchange in the fields of water, energy, and sustainable development.
The program featured a series of lectures, seminars, and hands-on workshops dedicated to renewable energy, the Water-Energy Nexus, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), cutting-edge scientific research, and innovative approaches to higher education. During the sessions, participants exchanged experiences and best practices, while Uzbekistan's achievements in the efficient management of water and energy resources were presented to the international audience.
As a key component of the Summer School, students participated in the SDG Competition, working in multinational teams to develop innovative solutions and research projects addressing water and energy challenges. The program also included a study visit to the RealLab Scientific and Practical Center in the Naryn region, where participants explored the practical application of renewable energy technologies and became acquainted with the center's state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.
The participation of the TIIAME National Research University delegation in the RE.Act project reflects the university's commitment to expanding international academic cooperation, promoting sustainable development, and enhancing research and educational excellence in the fields of water and energy.
