📌 Relations between Central Asia and the Republic of Korea are being built on the principles of equality and mutual respect. The objectives of cooperation are completely open, pragmatic, and constructive.
📌 The main task is not merely to maintain the momentum achieved in cooperation, but to turn these successes into a foundation for moving forward with even greater quality and impact.
📌 Despite instability in global markets, Central Asia is demonstrating economic growth of more than 6 percent. The region’s combined gross domestic product has exceeded $500 billion.
📌 With a population of more than 80 million, Central Asia is steadily becoming a “region of stability” and a “hub of global connectivity” in Eurasia.
📌 In response to modern challenges, a proposal was put forward to develop a long-term conceptual vision entitled “Central Asia–Republic of Korea: Cooperation for Accelerated Development.”
📌 It is extremely important to join efforts to establish mechanisms for the early detection and prevention of cyber threats.
📌 Central Asia can become an indispensable partner for the Republic of Korea in Eurasia, owing to its production facilities located outside trade-risk zones and the rapidly growing demand for its products.
📌 It is important to take effective measures to remove barriers, simplify certification procedures, and facilitate mutual access of products to local trading platforms.
📌 As part of efforts to expand industrial cooperation and investment partnerships, Uzbekistan expressed its readiness to host a “Central Asia–Korea” Industrial and Technology Park.
📌 It was emphasized that establishing direct partnership ties between regions is an important driving force for economic cooperation.
📌 Cooperation in the field of critical minerals creates a unique convergence of strategic interests between Central Asia and Korea. In this regard, a proposal was made to establish a regional investment alliance for critical minerals.
